This is Charlie.
Soon after he was born, he was ripped away from his mother.
His tail was chopped off, he was castrated without painkillers, and he spent the rest of his short life packed in with other frightened pigs in an overcrowded, filthy pen to await slaughter, never feeling the touch or care of his mother.
This didn’t have to be his story. In a better world, his mother would have cared for him as a baby and he would have spent his days playing and exploring.
Charlie deserved better than this.
