Hi John,

This is a critical moment for life on Earth.

The pandemic has been a painful reminder of what can happen when we exploit wildlife and destroy its habitat.

To save the planet's biodiversity while there's still time, we'll need to be bold.

Your gift today to the Saving Life on Earth Fund will give strength to our fight for wildlife. Thanks to a generous supporter, all gifts through Dec. 31 will be doubled.

As challenging as 2020 has been, there's an even greater sense of urgency as we press into 2021, which is why your year-end gift is so important.

Within the first week of January, the government could sell oil and gas leases in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. We've been working for decades to keep Big Oil out of the last pristine places of the Arctic — repelling its efforts to plunder the refuge again and again. We're not about to let up.

Gray wolves across the lower 48 will be facing their most uncertain future yet. We're fighting this attack in the courts — and in every state where wolves will otherwise soon be the targets of trophy hunts.

And we're also suing to restore the full power of the Endangered Species Act — to undo the damage Trump inflicted on this lifesaving law.

We'll win these critical battles because that's what we do. And what we have to do.

Over the past 30 years, the Center has locked in protections for 723 species and more than half a billion acres of habitat.

So please — double your gift now to our Saving Life on Earth Fund and help us protect more. All gifts through tomorrow night will be matched dollar for dollar.

As 2020 closes, we're frankly relieved to be leaving it behind us.

But our fight will go on. Because it's a fight that's not driven by hate or divisiveness, but by love — for all the creatures and peoples of the Earth.

With that love comes hope, for the future and for each other.

For the wild,
