Of the many tools our teams use to provide emergency care, MSF’s pre-packaged disaster kits are among the most important. These kits vary by emergency and need. For example, one type of kit includes a complete surgical theatre the size of a small conference table and can be sent anywhere in the world via logistical centers based in Europe, East Africa, Central America, and East Asia.

Between COVID-19 and the many existing crises we address around the world—including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria—our disaster kits are more in-demand than ever.
