Explore how people around the world navigate everyday justice problems

The World Justice Project is pleased to launch the Global Insights on Access to Justice interactive data portal. The new data microsite brings our latest global report to life with user-friendly visualizations of global survey data on legal needs and access to justice. The report and data portal mark the first-ever effort to capture comparable data on legal needs and access to civil justice on a global scale, representing the voices of more than 100,000 people in 101 countries.

Visit the interactive microsite to explore how ordinary people worldwide navigate their everyday justice problems, including data on the most common legal problems experienced, sources of help, status of the problem, resolution process, and hardships experienced.

As the UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Summit kicks off this week, WJP is pleased to offer this new tool to policymakers and civil society stakeholders advocating for increased commitments and investments in people-centered justice. As heads of state and government review progress under SDG16 on peace, justice, and inclusion, it is our hope that these data can provide an evidence base for assessing the state of access to justice and making meaningful commitments to address the unmet civil justice needs of 1.4 billion people globally
