Romano: Audit 2018 CT Election
|
|
Southington – Chairman J.R. Romano today challenged Nancy Wyman to join him in requesting a Federal Audit of the 2018 Connecticut election.
"For the longest time, we as Republicans have been told that there is no voter fraud in the State of Connecticut," Romano said. "We now have word, from someone inside the Democratic machine, telling us there's voter fraud. This is something that absolutely warrants further investigation."
Ned Lamont won by only 44,372 votes last November. After losing in the primary election, longtime Bridgeport Democrat, Marilyn Moore, called out the Democratic machine for using Absentee Voter fraud.
"This can't be the first time absentee voter fraud occurred in our state. I am asking for a Federal audit of the 2018 election to ensure our election process is clean and fair," Romano concluded.
