An economy that works for all

As we continue to look back at Mayor LaToya Cantrell's accomplishments from the last year, we can't forget all the progress that's been made to ensure all New Orleanians have opportunities to thrive. The COVID-related economic crisis has made this work more important than ever. Our economy still has a long way to go to fully recover, but Mayor Cantrell is already doing the work that needs to be done to rebuild. Pitch in now so Mayor Cantrell can keep up the work for our economy in 2021 and beyond.

Mayor Cantrell is dedicated to building a thriving local economy.

This year alone, Mayor Cantrell and her administration created a new Office of Business and External Services to make it easier to do business with city agencies and negotiated a $6 million franchise fee settlement from CenturyLink. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Mayor Cantrell was there for New Orleans businesses, delivering $2,000 grants to each of 50 outdoor dining venues and collaborating with Goldman Sachs to commit $50 million to help small businesses in New Orleans.

Mayor Cantrell is running for re-election in 2021. If you believe in the work Mayor Cantrell is doing to make New Orleans thrive, donate here so she can keep fighting for us for four more years.
