Dear John,

As we near the end of this challenging and difficult year, we are also nearing the end of a challenging and difficult presidency. In just a few short weeks, President Trump will leave office and my friend Joe Biden will take the oath of office.

I am looking forward to January 20th, and I am ready to get to work alongside Joe, Kamala, and the incredible team they have put together.

True to his promise, Joe has put together a Cabinet that looks like America. With at least 11 people of color and 10 women, his Cabinet is the most diverse in American history. For the first time, a Black man will serve as Defense Secretary and an Indigenous woman will serve as the Interior Secretary. Every nominee is extremely qualified and an expert in their field, dedicated to public service for our country.

In addition to putting together a team that looks like America, Joe and Kamala are fostering a climate that reflects the values of America. It's clear that advocating for racial justice, combating climate change, and enacting economic reform will be at the forefront of this new administration's priorities.
