John,
In these final few days of 2020, women will go to work at front-line jobs with no premium pay or paid sick leave in a global pandemic. Working parents will struggle without access to affordable, quality child care. Black girls in our schools will face discrimination and danger in what should be a safe place of learning, creativity, and curiosity.
For those working women, and parents, and girls, we’ve set an ambitious goal for our end of year fundraising drive: $150,000 to be ready for 2021. Right now gifts are being MATCHED until we hit our goal. Between now and midnight on December 31, it’s all hands on deck to meet our goal! Can you help by making your year-end donation right now and help us get to $150,000?
Funds will go toward the Law Center’s work to start unraveling the damage done by the Trump administration the moment the president leaves office, blocking continued attacks on the rights of women and girls, and building long-term power for gender justice in courtrooms across the country.
The coming days will help determine what we can accomplish in the new year. Any amount you can give right now will help.
I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together this year—from fighting to protect student survivors from unfair and traumatizing Title IX rules, to advancing pregnant people’s rights in the workplace, to blocking anti-choice, anti-woman judges from lifetime appointments to the federal bench.
This year is almost over. I can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve in 2021. But right now, we need to get ready—please join with a donation right now and your impact can be doubled.
Here we go.
