Right now, I’m thinking about how far Georgia has come this year.
We flipped our state blue for the presidency for the first time in nearly 25 years, and we’re on the cusp of taking back the Senate for Democrats.
But here’s what I’m most proud of: 20 of OAD’s endorsees won their races for state and local office. And it’s all happening right here in Georgia. Together, we’re building the next generation of bold, progressive leadership in our state -- and it’s been my honor to share their stories with you.
These 20 fearless Georgian women represent the best of our collective American story: They’re first-generation citizens, small business entrepreneurs, and champions of economic justice.
Slowly but surely, we are adding more seats to the table and making the American Dream a reality for all of us.
But our work extends far beyond the election cycle. We need to be making investments every day in future candidates so we can win local races and build political power in the progressive space. And we need your help to support OAD in 2021 and beyond.
