This is our final deadline of the year, and we have a modest goal we need to hit. Reaching this goal will put us in a strong position heading into the new Congress and send a powerful message that our movement is not slowing down.

What we raise at this deadline is going to help set the tone for next year and the new Congress.

Corporate interests, the gun lobby and the far-right are banking on us not fighting back. They want to maintain the status quo and keep Congress gridlocked.

This deadline is our chance to make clear that our fight is just getting started — that we will win progress and do more to support working people. And yes, we will pass legislation to end gun violence that President-elect Joe Biden will sign.

But Washington Republicans are going to do everything they can to stop us, and I am counting on you to help us fight back. So I need to ask:
