Dear John,
2020 was like getting caught in a hail storm while you’re paddling across Lac La Croix. And, just like getting caught in a hail storm, we knew that no matter what, we couldn’t stop paddling -- we had to keep working to protect the Boundary Waters.
Our work isn’t possible without the financial support of Boundary Waters lovers everywhere. Now it’s your turn. Stand up for the Boundary Waters by becoming a monthly donor starting at $3, $5, or $10 per month. [link removed]
Here are just a few things we’ve accomplished with your help in 2020:
Filed a groundbreaking state lawsuit against the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources under the Minnesota Environmental Rules Act
Worked closely with Boundary Waters Champion Representative Betty McCollum on federal legislation that would permanently protect the Boundary Waters that will be reintroduced in the new Congress in 2021
Worked closely with Boundary Waters champions in the Minnesota Legislature, who will introduce a Boundary Waters protection bill in 2021, a needed complement to the federal bill
Established a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice board committee that approved funding dedicated to making the fight to protect the Boundary Waters more inclusive and accessible to everyone
and more!
Make a year-end contribution to keep up the momentumhttps://www.savetheboundarywaters.org/YE20-email-recurring?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=FUN&utm_content=Email3nondonors- together, we can make 2021 a huge year for the Boundary Waters.

P.S. Did you know? Under the CARES Act, individual taxpayers can take a deduction of up to $300 for cash donations made in 2020 when they file their taxes, even if they don’t itemize. Another reason to rush a tax-deductible year-end gift to the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters today. [link removed]
