A Look Back at 2020!

2020 was a year like no other, with Covid-19, distance learning, and social
separation making PACER services even more important to support the education,
health, and safety of students. At PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center,
we are committed to being a valuable online resource with a positive impact
on our incredible audience. You can help support this important work in 2021
and beyond with a donation to PACER, which will contribute to our initiatives
to prevent bullying, and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

Support today!

In this year's challenging times, we are inspired by how schools, communities,
and individuals have continued to take action to help create a world without
bullying. As the year comes to an end, let’s reflect on the change we made
together.

Schools, communities, and individuals used PACER’s resources to make a positive
impact:

• 1.4 million visits PACER's websites from around the world!
• 15,650 individuals showed their support for bullying prevention by signing
PACER’s online pledge
• 1,296 registrations received for All In, a free, year-long curriculum with
8 months of weekly lessons and a new module designed for distance learning

• 216 nonprofits, organizations, and community groups became a Champion Against
Bullying

We held virtual events on behalf of PACER and shared resources for you to get
involved in your own communities:

• 15 amazing individuals, schools, and communities were recognized at PACER’s
6th Annual Unity Awards, held virtually this year, which included recipients
from Maryland, Georgia, South Dakota, Minnesota, and California
• 600+ “Create a World Without Bullying” Resource Kits were delivered around
the country

The world united together by celebrating campaigns for kindness, acceptance,
and inclusion:

• 5,700+Unity Day posters distributed across the country
• 4,500+ official PACER bullying prevention t-shirts were sold for National
Bullying Prevention Month and Unity Day
• 99% of Unity Day participants shared that it helped raise awareness of bullying
prevention in their school or community
• 95% of Unity Day participants said it helped students and staff in their
school or organization think about bullying differently

We continued to provide new and exciting resources to support those doing amazing
work in bullying prevention, such as:

• 4 updated or new online modules, on cyberbullying, distance learning, Unity
Day, and Students With Disabilities and Bullying
• 3 episodes released for the new video series Carmen’s Corner, which features
characters from PACER’s Kids Against Bullying Puppet Program and highlights
key concepts of bullying prevention
• 3new infographics on the relationship between COVID-19, distance learning,
and the potential for cyberbullying
• 3-part video series about what it means to be inclusive, part of the Include
Someone, Make A Difference Campaign, in partnership with Cartoon Network’s
Stop Bullying: Speak Up Campaign
• 1 new Bullying Prevention Poster Series to share the message of bullying
prevention all-year long, available in English and Spanish

We would also like to extend a special thanks to everyone who supported this
important issue and took action in their own community. Together, we can make
the world a kinder, more inclusive, and more accepting place!
