We have made historic gains at FairVote Minnesota this year, and as 2020 comes to a close, I am simply amazed at what our organization has achieved.

In 2020, we launched a successful RCV candidate program and helped to elect an incredible slate of pro-RCV leaders to the Minnesota Legislature. Bloomington and Minnetonka passed Ranked Choice Voting for local races, and RCV ballot measures also won in three other cities across the country and in the state of Alaska! It was also used for presidential primaries in five more states!!

We have much to celebrate at FairVote Minnesota and in the democracy reform movement, but recent events underscore the urgency of continuing this work. There have been persistent attacks on our democratic system this election cycle, and we are at a critical moment. The need for election reform is clear, and we need your help.

We are a few days away from the end of the year, and we are only $21,500 away from our $50,000 match goal. If you've never supported FairVote Minnesota, now is the time to join us and strengthen our democracy! If you've given in the past, this is an excellent opportunity to double-down on your support. As 2020 comes to an end, there is still more work left to do. If we’re going to be ready to pass RCV in the Minnesota House next session, we need to have the resources to continue to organize our supporters. That’s why it is so urgent to donate before the end of the month.
