Leading Our Change:

Our Staff
Hello AdvOCAtes,

Happy Holidays! December 24th marked our one week countdown for our end-of-year campaign, “Leading Our Change”, which will help fund our national internships and policy & advocacy work. This will provide college students and recent graduates with the life-changing opportunity to live and work in Washington, D.C. alongside members of nonprofits, nationally renowned thought leaders, and influential Congress members. To commemorate the end of the year, we've asked our staff to talk about how they lead change at OCA!

Lead Change with Us!

Name: Michael Nguyen (he/him/his)

Role with OCA National: Senior Policy and Advocacy Associate

How do you lead change with OCA?:
As a new member of the organization, I lead change at OCA by bringing a diversity of experiences, perspectives and skills, and channeling these strengths to empower and inspire lasting change within the organization. In the process, I am excited to learn from and collaborate with the incredible network of impassioned change-makers/advocates to create lasting, meaningful change within the AAPI community and beyond.

There are 2 days left until the end of the year. By making a tax-deductible gift this holiday season, you can help us meet our $100,000 goal and ensure that there is a pipeline of AAPI leaders for tomorrow.
