Johncurrently in the U.S. one in five species in the wild is at risk of extinction. Habitat fragmentation presents one of the greatest conservation challenges.

Thanks to your support, there’s hope like never before for wildlife whose historic habitats are divided by roads and other human development. Our scientific, data-based approach to large-scale conservation that you generously fund is reaching the ears and budgets of our public officials.

These policies are the culmination of our on-the-ground research. They promote vital wildlife movement corridors, as well as road crossings that save both people and wildlife by reducing wildlife-vehicle collisions by upwards of 97%!

This is why Virginia Senator David W. Marsden, upon passing comprehensive wildlife corridor legislation, said that the policy is “the coolest bill ever.”

The chance to double your tax-deductible gift ends soon, so donate today! Biophilia Foundation is generously matching your donation dollar for dollar though December 31.

Our data leads to enthusiastic bipartisan policies at local, state, and federal levels of government. Recently, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the bipartisan Wildlife Corridors Conservation Act, reserving $300 million for wildlife crossing projects. And the states of Virginia and Utah also passed wildlife corridors legislation this year with broad support from both sides of the aisle!

Thank you for bringing wildlife-friendly policies to life,

Katie Davis
Executive Director
