John,
We created the National Center for Public Policy Research to do the hard work other conservative groups were unwilling to do … to make a real difference.

And this year we succeeded in ways few thought possible.

The National Center’s Project 21 is leading the battle against the radical Black Lives Matter movement.

While Hollywood and the media fawned over Black Lives Matter (BLM), our Project 21 champions told American the truth.

It was a one-two punch.

You saw how over most of this year, aided by the leftist media, BLM did everything in its power to dominate the election debate, including fomenting violence to intimidate conservatives into silence.

Our first punch against Black Lives Matter and its progressive supporters was to discredit their radical ideology. Project 21 exposed BLM as a Marxist-Leninist organization, co-founded by Patrice Cullors, an admitted “trained Marxist.”

Project 21 exposed BLM’s radical plans for radical redistribution of wealth.

And it exposed BLM for its plan to “disrupt … the nuclear family structure,” the very foundation of a civil society.

The second punch was to provide a positive alternative the BLM’s agenda.

We did this through Project 21’s Blueprint for a Better Deal for Black America, a 20-page plan offering 57 concrete, budget-neutral, free-market recommendations to ensure blacks have their chance at the American dream.
The Blueprint lays out specific plans for improving education, reducing regulation that stifles opportunity in black communities, and criminal justice reform – some proposals that have already been adopted.

Our alternative isn’t about “reparations,” or tearing down statues, or scrubbing history, or group shaming, or paternalistic government.

It’s about expanding opportunity.

To say there was media demand for Project 21’s dual message is an extreme understatement.

Project 21 Co-Chairman Horace Cooper took this message on-the-air through regular appearances on “Ingraham Angle” and “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Fox News and on NewsMax’s “Spicer and Company” and One America News.

Cooper’s media presence was so pervasive that he caught the attention of Vice President Mike Pence.

He was one of just five black leaders asked to join the Vice President for lunch at the White House to advise him on how to heal the nation, stop the violence and move forward following the police slaying of George Floyd.

Cooper – together with co-chairman Stacy Washington and Council Nedd, II – were on cable news virtually every night, non-stop since May, standing against the violence, the rioting and the radical socialist agenda of BLM.

Altogether, Project 21 leaders appeared on cable television 90 times.

The value of appearances on the Fox News Channel alone was $1.8 million! And that was equal to more than a third of our expenditures in 2020.
Would you say that’s bang for the buck?

The National Center’s Project 21 leaders did a lot more than just preach to the choir through frequent appearances on conservative cable news programs, however.

They also appeared on-the-air and in-print with media outlets traditionally a lot more hostile to conservatives, reaching millions of Americans – white, black, and Hispanic – who aren’t already with us.

If you can believe it, Project 21 members were interviewed on radio a whopping 372 times – more than once every single day of the year! They were also interviewed, quoted and cited in the print media 274 times and published least 78 times.

No other organization even came close to providing this kind of media exposure to black conservatives.

No one in the conservative movement matches our efforts to expand the conservative base by reaching out to black communities through our Project 21 program.

We’ve never been closer to a major ideological realignment of minority populations than we are right now. We MUST do everything in our power to make it happen.

John, may I count on your support at this crucial time as we engage the battles ahead in 2021? I ask you to use this opportunity to make a special Year-End, tax-deductible contribution today.

As you have seen, we are facing a more radicalized, more motivated left-wing than ever before. To save freedom in America, we have to keep confronting them!

Please take this important opportunity to help the National Center for Public Policy Research achieve even bigger success in 2021.

As we look forward to celebrating the holidays before us, I thank you so much for standing with me and the National Center for Public Policy Research.
