Act now to stop DIY abortions in England

Dear SPUC supporter,

Consultations on whether dangerous DIY home abortions should be made permanent are currently ongoing in Scotland, England, and Wales.

The DIY abortion scheme was introduced in March 2020 by the Westminster Government and the devolved administrations in Scotland and Wales  as a temporary measure due to the COVID -19 pandemic. Under the scheme both doses of abortion pills are sent to women through the post after a phone call with an abortion provider.

Please respond to your Government's consultation

Each Government is running a separate consultation on whether to make these schemes permanent. Please concentrate on responding to the consultation in your home nation. SPUC has prepared  briefings for each consultation.

We cannot stay silent

We need a massive response to each consultation. Please take the time to respond to the relevant consultation, and send a strong message to your Government that DIY abortions are a terrible idea and should not be continued.

It is vital that as many pro-life people as possible speak out now against DIY abortions by making a submission to the relevant consultation.

We cannot stay silent at this critical moment in the fight to protect unborn babies and their mothers from the barbarity of DIY abortions.

With heartfelt thanks,

Antonia Tully
Director of Campaigns
