ALBUQUERQUE STILL WRESTLES WITH MURDER PROBLEM IN 2020
The City of Albuquerque this week saw its 76th homicide in 2020. That's four shy from last year's record number of murders in the city. On Sunday, police were called to a gas station where they found a man beaten. He died at the scene. Despite constant promises of addressing the crime crisis in Albuquerque, Mayor Tim Keller has done little to crack down on this problem. FBI statistics show that Albuquerque's violent crime rate is almost three times the national rate. It's time to replace Keller in 2021 with a mayor who will get tough on crime.
