John,
There’s just one week until Georgia's pivotal runoff election. Two U.S. Senate seats will be determined on January 5th. The control of the U.S. Senate—and the fate of Joe Biden's legislative agenda for the first two years—will be determined by this vote.
CHN is working with a growing coalition of groups in Georgia to make sure underrepresented and marginalized communities have a plan to vote, including working with The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the nation’s largest and oldest civil rights volunteer-based organization that empowers Hispanic Americans and builds strong Latino communities.
LULAC is working with state-based organizations to Get Out the Vote and ensure we have a record turnout for this critical election in the Peach State. They are running phone banks and text banks to reach every eligible and registered Latino voter in Georgia.
Join the first Latina elected to the Georgia General Assembly, Rep. Brenda Lopez and 2020 Texan of the year finalist, Texas State Rep. Victoria Neave, and help us ensure every voice is heard by uplifting the Latino vote in the Georgia Senate special election. Sign up for a virtual phonebank house party with LULAC today!
Thank you for all that you continue to do to drive record breaking voter turnout in these two U.S. Senate runoff elections.
If you can’t volunteer, that’s OK. Please donate $7 to CHN today—one dollar for each day left until the Georgia runoff election—to power our voter outreach efforts and make sure marginalized communities and communities of color have the resources they need to vote and to make their voices heard.
Together, let’s demand accountability from our political leaders and fight for the needs of the vulnerable, the sick and the poor.
