We can’t believe we’re saying this, but Hakeem is being threatened with a lawsuit by… Roger Stone.

That’s right: according to the New York Post, the notorious political operative and one of President Trump’s biggest supporters “vows to file $25M defamation suit against Rep. Hakeem Jeffries.” Why? For telling it like it is.

When Trump pardoned his lackey last July just days before he was supposed to serve his 40-month prison sentence for lying to federal investigators, Hakeem tweeted, “Roger Stone lied. To cover-up for Trump. The corrupt President just paid him back. They can all be indicted. On January 21.”

Now, Stone is attacking him, calling him “pathetic,” “a hack,” saying his tweet was “defamatory” and that he’ll “see his ass in court.” Give us a break.

While Hakeem is busy fighting for $2,000 relief checks for the American people in Congress right now, let’s show him we the people stand by him against these ridiculous attacks from Stone.
