The Trump administration launched a devastating attack at the Arctic National
Wildlife Refuge but we can stop these bad actors together!

[[link removed]]John: Polar bears, caribou, their habitats, a sacred
Indigenous place and an entire local ecosystem are ALL in danger – and we're
running out of time to save them.
The Trump administration launched a devastating attack at the Arctic National
Wildlife Refuge this year when they announced plans to auction it off to the
biggest Big Oil bidder. This opens the door for the destruction of nearly 1.6
million acres of pristine coastal plain – land the Indigenous Gwich’in people of
northern Alaska consider “the sacred place where life begins.”
We must stop this. We can stop this. We're part of the world's largest
grassroots environmental network, and our work to defend the Earth – to defend
our public lands – has never been more important. But with time running out to stop this disastrous project and save our planet's
future, we're still falling short of our final, most important fundraising goal
of the year.
But we have some incredible news: A generous group of donors is DOUBLING every
dollar up to our $809,000 goal to save precious lands like the Arctic Refuge and
fight back for our only Earth – and we're counting on you to take advantage
before this match expires:
Please, rush your tax-deductible, Earth-saving gift now, before our deadline at
midnight on December 31st, and your impact will be DOUBLED to save our wildlife, our
public lands and our vital ecosystems

[[link removed]]This fight is just as much about social justice as it is about saving the
planet: Indigenous communities like the Gwich'in and Iñupiat, who have long
relied on the precious, wild, natural resources the refuge provides, could lose
their way of life. And with less than 10 years left to prevent climate
catastrophe due to activities like drilling, whatever we do now will decide the
fate of our only Earth.
But we can't fight as hard as the planet needs us to unless we have the
resources it takes to win. And right now, we're falling dangerously short of our
goal, with only hours to reach it. Matches like this don't come around often –
and they provide the most important fundraising moments for grassroots
organizations like ours.
We don’t have a moment to waste if we’re going to save our one and only Earth
from destruction, greed and ruin. Other vital public lands like Bears Ears and
even the Grand Canyon could be at risk of drilling, mining and fracking next.
Your gift could be the difference between saving our planet and letting Big Oil
strip it for parts – so we have to ask before time runs out on this match and
our planet's future:
Donate $27 – or whatever you can spare – right now, before our year-end match
expires at midnight, and you'll DOUBLE your impact to help us keep stopping Big
Polluters from threatening our planet's survival.
