In just a few weeks, President-elect Biden will officially take his place in the White House and begin enacting his agenda.

Over the past four years, we’ve seen President Trump and his allies launch full-scale attacks on retirement security. We must ensure that retirees are a key part of President-elect Biden’s agenda in order to repair the damage.

President-elect Biden’s transition team has already floated some good ideas, like ACA expansion. But we need to make sure that these actually turn into enacted policies, including:

Strengthening and expanding earned Social Security benefits
Adding dental, vision, and hearing coverage to Medicare
Expanding the Affordable Care Act
Lowering the cost of prescription drugs
Increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour
