I’m grateful to our CGI University team, who distributed grants to 38 student-led projects designed to address the most urgent challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. I’m grateful to the Too Small to Fail team and our partners, who provided thousands of diapers, books, learning materials, and other essential supplies to parents and caregivers when schools and daycares closed in the spring and again in the autumn. And, I’m grateful for the generosity of our supporters who make all of this possible.

I have often said that being optimistic is a choice. Working with people who begin every day by choosing optimism fills me with hope — and reminds me that amid all the loss of this year, there are also reasons to be thankful.
