I’m ready to say farewell to 2020, and I imagine you are, too. But looking back, I want to thank you for supporting PFLAG National during one of the most difficult years of our nation’s history. Despite the immense challenges of the pandemic, you came through -- and made a difference in thousands of thousands of lives.

One bright spot this year was PFLAG National’s partnership with OREO for LGBTQ+ History Month last October. PFLAGers got to celebrate what it means to be a #ProudParent and proud ally -- and for the first time ever, OREO created special Rainbow Oreos, exclusively in honor of PFLAG.

I’m excited to share with you that our friends at OREO have made available to us a very limited additional quantity of these special #ProudParent Rainbow Oreos -- and we are giving them away to supporters of PFLAG National who make a gift of $50 or more by December 31! Developing a brand-new virtual program, PFLAG Connects, which continues to provide virtual meeting access and digital support resources for our 400+ chapters across the country;
Creating a new weekly broadcast Something To Talk About Live, which keeps viewers connected to discussions on intersectionality, diversity, inclusion, and more;
Providing virtual learning sessions for people through PFLAG Academy Online and employees in the workplace through our Straight for Equality™ program, which drew more new people to PFLAG, even though we couldn’t see them in person.

More and more families and allies are being supported by PFLAG’s resources than ever before -- and with your help, we can stay connected to anyone needing critical support as the pandemic continues through 2021, and PFLAG National expands its virtual resources to our growing chapter network and all of our members and supporters.
