Start the year strong by taking action for animals! This past year has been an unusual and difficult one for many of us: safety and distancing protocols have made our actions trickier to attend, and we haven't been able to meet many of our activist friends in person. Despite these challenges, there are many innovative ways to take action for animals, who need us more than ever. Come learn about the big and small ways you can help animals no matter where you are in the world! The first meetup of 2021, Meetup: Creative Actions You Can Take for Animals, will be this Saturday, January 2nd, at 11AM. See the event page for Zoom link instructions.

Friday, January 1st, 10AM: Jelly's Place Volunteer Day - *Space limited to 10 people, please confirm if you are attending* The Jelly's Place animal shelter saves lives every single day! And they need a team to help clean and organize their storage containers! We will meet at 10am in the parking lot of the animal shelter and go over what needs to be done. There will be vegan snacks for everyone! Jelly's Place is at 2905 San Pablo Dam Road, San Pablo, CA 94803.

Sunday, January 3rd, 11:30AM: January Chapter Meeting: DxE SF Bay Area - Help us shape the direction of the local DxE community. This is the most important meeting we hold each month and it is a place for discussion, strategic planning, and decision making. All current and prospective chapter members in the DxE SF Bay Area chapter are encouraged to attend. Please see the details in the event page for Zoom instructions.
