On Thursday at midnight, we face the first public Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing deadline after President Trump’s unpatriotic coup attempt failed.

Because I’m a highly visible part of Democratic leadership, Republicans and their special interest investors will be watching our publicly reported numbers for any sign of weakness.

If we fall short, the GOP will see it as a public indicator that the American people will allow them to obstruct our progressive agenda. With so many people suffering, we can’t allow that to happen.
