Today is the 850th anniversary of the martyrdom of Saint Thomas Becket on December 29, 1170, and you can read President Trump's proclamation against religious persecution below.
On this day in 1845, six months after the congress of the Republic of Texas accepts U.S. annexation of the territory, Texas is admitted into the United States as the 28th state. While many Americans may be cheering news of a second Covid relief check, there is a real danger the Covid relief checks could become permanent and lead to the end of work in America as we know it. Plus, Dr. Fauci appeared to admit last week that he has deliberately misled the public regarding the coronavirus — for the second time since the pandemic began.
