John,

We can all agree that no matter where you live, whatever your race or
economic status, we should all have the same opportunity to cast a vote on
Election Day.

In 2020, people from across Wisconsin came together to overcome not just a
global health pandemic but unprecedented hurdles to voting in order to
make their voices heard.

The results of the election were clear.

And now, instead of coming together to tackle COVID and restore economic
well-being, some politicians are trying to divide us and to target the
votes of Black, Latinx, Indigenous and New Americans.

This year, our sponsor organization A Better Wisconsin Together worked to
ensure Wisconsinites had the information and access they needed to cast
their ballot, and in 2021 we have a responsibility to simplify the voting
process for everyone.

Our laws ought to meet the promise of our democracy -- helping people
register to vote, and making it more convenient for us to participate in
elections to guarantee that we, the voters, decide elections.

In 2021, A Better Wisconsin Together is dedicated to building on the
overwhelming support voters showed for our democracy with their record
participation this November.

A Better Wisconsin Together will fight efforts to divide us and silence
our fellow Wisconsinites, but we can’t do this work alone.
