As you may have heard by now, GLAAD is in the final days of its RECLAIM OUR GROUND campaign, where all donations given by December 31st are being matched by the Board’s Leadership Fund. Given this incredible opportunity, and this critical moment for our movement, I’d like to tell you what Reclaiming Our Ground means to me, and why I have joined GLAAD’s Board of Directors. 

Reclaiming Our Ground means building a world where transgender people don’t have to fear for their safety. It means the rights of LGBTQ families are protected. It means that the rich and beautiful diversity of our community is on full display. GLAAD is on the front lines of all of this work.
