John -- Ben here! I won't beat around the bush. December has been a tough month for Mary Gay and the team.

This is our first filing deadline post-election, and we know we've got to stay on our toes with redistricting happening in the new year. I know Mary Gay is worried we won't hit Thursday night’s FEC fundraising goal -- and I'm growing concerned, too.

That's why I'm checking in with you. Mary Gay wrote earlier -- and we only raised $630. We have $8,020 left to go.

If you step up before our deadline, I know we can finish strong. But falling short means we'll be off to a rocky start in 2021 and we won't be able to expand our grassroots efforts.
