We need to keep Senator Duckworth in Washington speaking out on behalf of our troops, Veterans and military families. Make a contribution to support her reelection campaign before the December 31st FEC Deadline.

Friends,

As 2020 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on some of the things that happened during this incredibly tumultuous year.

Like when President Trump reportedly called Americans who died in war “losers” and “suckers.”

Or when he got furious he saw flags at half mast after John McCain died, asking “What the f*** are we doing that for? Guy was a f**** loser.”

He fired Purple Heart recipient Lt. Colonel Vindman after his honest testimony during the impeachment trial.

He showed more respect for tyrants like Putin who manipulate him like a puppet and reportedly put bounties on our troops’ heads than for the brave men and women who wear our nation’s uniform.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson attacked me on live TV and said I “actually hate America.” And a Republican House member accused me of being “in love with terrorists.”

And in a White House meeting, Trump reportedly asked that wounded Veterans be excluded from a military parade because “nobody wants to see” amputees.

He was talking about people like me, who lost limbs while defending our country but had the audacity to come back home, have families and even (gasp!) go in public where people can see us. Well, I’d take my wheelchair and titanium legs over Donald Trump’s supposed bone spurs any day.

Look, I am proud to be an advocate for our troops, Veterans and military families in Washington, and to speak up for them in the face of these kinds of disrespectful attacks. But in order for me to keep that up, I need to win my reelection campaign.

So please, make a contribution to support my reelection campaign today. If you can make that contribution before our December 31st FEC deadline, that would be much appreciated. Chip in here:

Every single day in Washington, I think about the men in my unit in Iraq who saved my life when an RPG blew up the helicopter I was piloting. I was quite literally in pieces, but my buddies refused to leave me behind.

While there is no way I can ever repay them, I will never stop trying. Making sure I don’t let them down is what drives me to do everything I can for our military community every single day from the United States Senate.

Yours,

Tammy Duckworth
