Hurricane Dorian Update: Helping Families Recover

Two and a half weeks after Hurricane Dorian devastated parts of the Bahamas, survivors face a perilous and uncertain future. Thanks to the generosity of donors, from thousands of individuals to companies and foundations like JetBlue, Airbnb, the Rachael Ray Foundation, and Major League Baseball, Project HOPE is on the ground in shelters and clinics, helping families recover.

Born with Down syndrome and a congenital cardiac defect, 3-month-old Ema was on the brink of death. Her mother Naylet went from doctor to doctor, never receiving the proper diagnosis or adequate care for her daughter, until she was referred to Project HOPE in Colombia.
