John,
Last week, I was honored to deliver the Democrats’ National Weekly Address on Christmas Day:
It only felt right to address the challenges of this past year head on. And as we celebrate the holidays, we mourn the loss of more than 320,000 Americans to this pandemic, including 5,500 veterans.
These are so much more than statistics. Each person lost is a beloved family member, friend, or co-worker. It’s a profound tragedy for our nation.
One positive heading into 2021 is that House Democrats were able to negotiate a relief package that was signed by President Trump just yesterday. But it’s only a first step, which we must build on under the incoming Biden-Harris Administration.
Please take the time if you’re able to
view the entire address (it’s just about 3 minutes long), and I wish you and your family the best during this final week of 2020.
Thanks,
Mike
