Friend -- 2020 has been year of tragedy, perseverance, and redemption. As the year ends, I am reflecting on how grateful I am for this community. You have driven meaningful progress toward ending gerrymandering and voter suppression. You are part of the movement that elected Joe Biden and other Democrats in November, allowing our nation to go into 2021 with renewed hope.

We are eight days away from Georgia's U.S. Senate runoff elections which will determine whether Congress can pass democracy reform like H.R. 1 or restore the Voting Rights Act.

So, as Ray Charles sang, Georgia's on my mind - and truly, the state has always been a key part of the NDRC's strategy. The NDRC has worked in Georgia since 2017 and our affiliates will continue working in the state to secure fair maps in 2021 by building grassroots power and fighting for redistricting reform at the state capitol.
