We're grateful that we've gotten to fight by your side this year — to support Elizabeth, to help elect Warren Democrats up and down the ballot, and to lay out bold plans for big, structural change.
Our work is only going to become more critical in 2021. We can make real progress to root out corruption and put power in the hands of the people. And by growing our grassroots movement, we can lay the groundwork to elect more champions for working people across the country.
Right now, with our last FEC fundraising deadline of the year coming up this Thursday, we're crunching the numbers to figure out our budget for 2021. If we don't hit our goal in the next few days, we'll have to scale back our outreach plans for the next few months.
Elizabeth has been busy in the past several months, and she's counting on us to stay in the fight, too.
She's laid out plans for guaranteeing an Essential Workers' Bill of Rights, using executive authority to broadly cancel student loan debt, rewriting our bankruptcy laws so they work for the families who need them the most, and more. And she's passed a bill to remove the names of Confederate officers from military bases.
She's mobilized our movement to help elect Democrats like Jamaal Bowman, Mondaire Jones, and Lauren Underwood — and she's fighting to elect Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in Georgia next week.
And she's shone a light on important issues that aren't always front and center in the national conversation, like how billionaires and giant corporations have been able to bounce back from this year's economic crisis while working people have fallen further behind.
In 2021, Elizabeth will keep lifting up the voices of people who are too often ignored, and she'll keep pushing for bold reforms that will address the root causes of the crises we face.
But she can't do it alone — we need to fight by her side as a grassroots movement.
