Make a year-end contribution today to protect the Wilderness

Dear Human,

My name is Jack Piragis. My dad, Steve Piragis, owns and operates Piragis Northwoods Co. in Ely, Minnesota, which means I get to play in the Boundary Waters and Superior National Forest quite a bit.

I have two favorite things about the Boundary Waters. First, I love that it’s a four-season paradise. I especially enjoy the winter because that’s when I get to go ice fishing. I’m pretty good at it.

The other thing I love about the Boundary Waters is that it keeps my dad’s business thriving, which means it puts kibble in my bowl. In fact, the Wilderness supports all of my friends and their humans in communities across the region.

As a dog, I don’t really “get” money, but I hear that it’s essential and needed in the fight to protect the Boundary Waters. So please use your opposable thumbs and make a contribution today!

For my favorite place,
Jack Piragis

P.S. My dad’s business, and so many others in the region, rely on the Boundary Waters. By making a year-end contribution today, you are supporting permanent protection for this special place, and the many businesses that depend on it. Make a gift today.
