Hello —

This past year has been incredibly difficult for so many Minnesotans, and Americans. Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones, those who have lost their livelihoods, and those who are worried about what comes next.

We are also overwhelmed with gratitude for all the people who continue to work throughout this crisis so that the rest of us have the health care, food, medicine, and basic supplies we all need.

I’m thinking of doctors and nurses and frontline workers in health care and public safety, and the folks keeping child care centers running so these folks can go to work.

I’m thinking of the frontline workers in grocery stores, pharmacies, factories, and everywhere else we turn to get what we need.

I’m thinking of the farmers and ranchers, truck drivers, and others in food processing facilities and dairies — working to make sure we have food to put on the table.

And I’m thinking of all the public servants in state, local, and federal government, who have been working 24 hours a day over the past year to respond to this crisis.

In times of great challenge like this, we show our strength. We truly are in this together. Paul Wellstone’s simple but profound statement, “We all do better when we all do better” has never been more true.

I want you to know that I have never been more motivated to continue working for you in every way I know how — and to respond to this crisis in ways that put working families and small businesses first.

The hard work is just getting started as we prepare for a new administration to take over this crisis, and I am rolling up my sleeves to fiercely advocate on behalf of everyone in Minnesota to make sure our folks get the support they’ve been waiting too damn long for.

Trust me — I am not done fighting for you. I hope you and your loved ones are staying healthy and safe as we get ready for a new year.

Yours,

Tina

P.S. I know this is an unprecedented time for many families. But if you have any change to spare, I hope you will consider pitching in to Meals on Wheels and Second Harvest Heartland — two incredible organizations working on the frontlines of this pandemic. [[link removed]?]
