A big THANK YOU to our members and supporters for your unwavering commitment to housing and racial justice in 2020! |

Despite the challenges of 2020, our affordable housing movement and industry remains unshaken. Together, we: - Ramped up our direct voter outreach and engagement to affordable housing residents in partnership with resident services teams
- Endorsed and advocated for two Bay Area housing measures which passed into law, Alameda County Measure W and Sonoma County Measure O
- Spearheaded the launch of the Bay Area Housing Finance Authority and published “The Road Ahead” paper, two critical opportunities to advance a comprehensive regional housing strategy
- Advocated for local and state eviction moratoriums to keep people in their homes
- Hosted our first ever virtual conference with over 1,000 of our dearest friends, members, and partners, where we came together remotely to discuss how we can advance housing justice as racial and economic justice, and work for systemic change
- Graduated our second Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP) cohort and successfully launched and supported our third internship cohort
- Laid the groundwork for a new affordable housing Leadership Development Training Institute (to kick off in 2021) to support emerging leaders of color to become our future senior and executive leaders of tomorrow
We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished together. Looking ahead to 2021, there’s so much more work to do to advance affordable housing and we simply can’t do it without you. Support our movement by joining or renewing your NPH membership today. |
