Friends,
As I write this, vaccines are arriving at hospitals and health care facilities across the country. Thanks to the tireless work of doctors and researchers, we’re just beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel of the most devastating public health crisis in a century.
But we have to remember that the fight for equitable access to quality, affordable health care will not end when this pandemic does.
No one should be sick because they’re poor, or poor because they’re sick.
No one should skip a doctor’s appointment because they have to choose between paying their copay or putting food on the table.
No one should have to
ration necessary medication -- not in the richest nation the world has ever known.
That’s why Our American Dreams is teaming up with Ady Barkan’s organization Be A Hero. They’re taking on Big Pharma and Washington career politicians to make accessible health care a reality, and they’re running ads here in Georgia to help Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock flip the Senate blue.
If you can, please split a donation of any size between OAD and Be A Hero today. With your support, Be A Hero can keep their TV ads on the air here in Georgia and have a real impact on these Senate runoffs.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thank you so much,
Sarah Riggs Amico
