Throughout this year, we have worked to bring together different unions and community organizations throughout the state to champion policies that benefit our communities and working families. This work is more important now than ever.

I am writing today to ask you to consider donating to our 2020 Year-End Campaign to support our work to unite organizations and communities around a shared vision and plan of action.

This year, our Public Transit Public Good coalition blunted the most extreme elements of the disastrous MBTA service cuts that had been planned for next year. The revised plan ([link removed]) would continue running bus and subway service past midnight until 1 a.m., maintain partial ferry and weekend commuter rail service, and maintain trolleys on the Green Line’s E branch. Our volunteers bring healthy food to communities that need it most during this COVID-19 crisis. We also launched a pilot program to provide childcare in the early morning, for workers in industries like construction that do not have standard work hours.
