I know firsthand what it's like running against Jason Lewis.

Four years ago, we battled to represent Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District — and I lost. But I dusted myself off and took him on AGAIN. And the second time around, I won.

And now that he has decided to run against Tina, we are running the risk of having his hateful rhetoric return to Washington.

We cannot underestimate Jason Lewis in this race and what that will mean for the Senate.

He is mean spirited and has a long history of offensive views about women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Someone who expresses those views, who won't stand up for my family and families like mine, doesn't belong in the House, and there's no way I'll let him speak for Minnesotans in the Senate.

You can bet that he will vote in lockstep with Trump and Mitch McConnell if elected to the Senate, like gutting health care and handing out tax breaks to Wall Street. Just like he did in the House.

Jason Lewis is hedging his bets that Trump will win Minnesota, and even CNN is saying that it's possible. Tina will be our main line of defense from the Republicans, but she needs our help to take Jason Lewis on.
