People For and its members had a profound impact on this year’s elections.
We employed cutting edge strategies, stepped up our use of videos and digital events to increase our effectiveness during the pandemic, and reached tens of millions of voters with targeted get out the vote messages. We did it all by relying on our most valuable and important resource: you, our community of more than a million dedicated members and activists. Together, we don’t just yearn for an America that lives up to its dreams, aspirations, and values – we FIGHT for it, with everything we’ve got.
The forces of organized money, corruption, and hate have found refuge in one of America’s major political parties and, even with the departure of Donald Trump as president, that’s not going away.
But we’re not going away either. And with you by our side, our strongest days are yet to come as our country’s most powerful multi-generational, multi-racial, multi-issue progressive fighting force.
So find comfort in the power you have to stop the foes of democracy and equality … to create a better nation and world and to bend the arc of the moral universe towards justice. We did it in this year’s elections and we’ll do it again, together.
