John xxxxxx,

With the 2018 Blue Wave, New York State Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi successfully flipped New York’s 22nd congressional district from red to blue, defeating a Republican incumbent.

In his short time in Congress, Anthony has worked alongside me to defend our healthcare and protections for people with pre-existing conditions, maintain fair and transparent elections, provide relief for the working and middle class, and so much more.

But his former Republican challenger took him on in a rematch this past November, and a winner still hasn’t been confirmed. Right now, Anthony has just a 14-vote lead against his opponent.

Anthony is stuck in a recount fight against a Republican who, like President Trump, wants to throw votes out in order to win. We can’t let that happen. Especially with our House majority becoming slimmer and slimmer.

As this recount continues into early 2021, will you help support Anthony in his efforts to keep fighting for New Yorkers in Congress by splitting a contribution to our campaigns today? [[link removed]]

If we come together now, we can make sure all valid votes are counted in this race, keep a strong Democratic leader like Anthony fighting alongside me in Congress and prevent the GOP from taking back another House seat.

Keep the faith,

— Hakeem
