Dear Friend of MCV,

We are approaching our deadline to reach our $18,000 fundraising goal — and we need your help in these final days.

Your contribution to MCV today will mean more climate action in Maine. It will mean holding more of our elected officials accountable for their votes on our environment. It will mean continued safeguards of communities and the environment in Maine.

If you can, please chip in right now to ensure we take advantage of this incredible fundraising challenge. Generous donors who love Maine's environment as much as you will TRIPLE your gift right now. [[link removed]]

The climate crisis is directly affecting Maine. Our sea level is rising. Our weather is rapidly switching from one extreme to the next—affecting fishing, farming, and skiing industries. Childhood asthma is one of the highest in the country, and tick-borne diseases are on the rise.

But together, we can slow the devastating effects of the climate crisis and help change the course now. Maine’s new, bold Climate Action Plan is the pathway forward to cutting emissions in Maine by 80% and using 100% renewable energy by 2050. It’s going to take all of us to ensure that legislative policies are passed in 2021 to fully implement the Climate Action Plan.

Help stop the path of destruction set in motion by the climate crisis – click here to add your support before the deadline and help reach the $18,000 goal[[link removed]] .

Please take action today on the environmental issue of our time with a time-sensitive donation today. This work can’t wait and you can make it happen.

Thank you,

Beth
