Fighting Back Against Socialism
Socialism is rapidly increasing in popularity among the younger generation today. The idea of a “free lunch” sounds great until we ask one simple question: Who will pay for all of this? The answer lies within Big Government, giving them great power which has proven to not benefit the people but rather strip them of their freedom. Wayne Morrow sits down with The New American’s Publisher & Editor, Gary Benoit to discuss fighting back against socialism in our third Matter of Action video.
Wayne and Gary discuss specific ways that we can fight socialism as well as discuss how we can help educate the next generation to steer them away from this great threat to our freedom. Gary suggests the importance of reading and distributing, The New American September 2nd Issue, to continue to educate the nation as well as getting this issue to the younger generation at college campuses. Gary also suggests reading and distributing our newest TNA reprint, Do It Like Denmark?,where the article describes what life is really like in socialist Denmark. Finally last week’s episode of Matter of Action will give you tools to help you get the word out so that we can continue to fight for our liberty and independence.
We must stand up against socialism and fight back so that we can limit the power of Big Government. William F. Jasper recently wrote an article for The New American where he said, “We have seen over and over again that a government big enough to give the people everything they want is big enough to take from them everything they have – and not just their money, but also their liberty and their lives”. Let’s continue to help our younger generation understand the dangers of what socialism will bring.
