Oftentimes, political media and pundits will use these end-of-year fundraising numbers to determine the strength of our movement. These judgments can bolster our mission to elect candidates who will unapologetically speak truth to power. But they also have the potential to discourage people from supporting our movement if we don’t end the year on a strong note–some could think our movement and Truth to Power are no longer needed now that the 2020 election is over.
I don’t know about you, John, but I believe that all the hardships we as a country have faced this year make it crystal clear that our movement is needed now more than ever, no matter who the president is.
And if just one out of every six people reading this shows their support, they won’t be able to question the strength of our movement.
