Friend, be honest: do you take safe water for granted?
So many of us can easily wash our hands to combat COVID-19. But what about the more than 850,000 Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh? They are living in cramped and dangerous conditions, constantly at high risk of contracting infectious diseases like COVID-19. Not only is social distancing near impossible, finding safe water to drink and to wash their hands is anything but easy.
Access to safe drinking water and handwashing with soap saves lives — your DOUBLED gift will help expand our hygiene and health programs in this critical time. Give before December 29 and your gift will be matched, keeping 2X the children safe from disease. |
Safe water shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be a given. Through our water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) program, UNICEF has distributed essential hygiene supplies to over 240,000 Rohingya refugees — over half of whom are children.
Your matched gift helps fight COVID-19 and other contagious diseases, DOUBLING access to safe water and other critical aid for children all over the world. |
Thank you for making a difference,
Team UNICEF USA |
