We were just looking through the latest stats, and as our Liberal government worked to keep Canadians safe and supported this year, you and thousands of other Canadians made some incredible things happen to keep Canada moving forward.
In 2020, Canadians elected 2 new Liberal MPs (Marci Ien and Ya’ara Saks) – and there are now 100 women representing Canadians in the House of Commons for the first time in history. Our Liberal team stepped up our organizing in innovative new ways this year, like our first-everVirtual Weekend of Action, which was so successful that together we held 6 more! More than 10,000 volunteers reached out to nearly 1 million Canadians for their ideas for a better future – and just this past week, we shared the news about our first 20 candidates.
December is also off to an extraordinary start to help reach our crucial end-of-year online fundraising goal. 10,090 Canadians have already chipped in to help us achieve it – and plus, if you chip in before midnight on December 31st, you can get up to 75% back with 2020 tax credits!
