Building up our city.
As we review Mayor LaToya Cantrell's 2020 accomplishments, we can't forget that infrastructure has been a top priority of hers since day one. Last year, she negotiated a historic agreement to secure our city's fair share of funding for infrastructure. In 2020, Mayor Cantrell continued the work and the City of New Orleans made great strides in building up our infrastructure. There's still much to be done, but we know Mayor Cantrell can make it happen. We're asking you to pitch in so she can continue the work in 2021 and beyond.
The past year has seen 171 public works projects completed or advanced throughout New Orleans. Using this interactive website, you can see for yourself what projects are currently underway in your own neighborhood. In addition to these projects, thousands of catch basins have been cleaned or inspected and tens of thousands of potholes have been filed. All of this is part of an effort to build a modern infrastructure that will support our city for generations to come.
Mayor Cantrell is laying the foundation for a prosperous, sustainable New Orleans. Our city has so much to look forward to, but our work isn't done yet. Chip in right now to help re-elect Mayor Cantrell so she can finish the job.
