Last year, pundits thought a pediatrician who had never held public office was a long shot to flip Washington's 8th Congressional District and become the first Democrat to represent it. But people from all walks of life came together to make it happen -- and together, we showed everyone that our grassroots campaign was stronger than any attack Republicans threw our way.

Now, we're gearing up for another year of attacks. One of the biggest Republican super PACs has already named our district a top target for 2020 -- so we need your help.

This fundraising quarter may be one of our last chances to show potential opponents just what they'd be going up against, so we need to put up big numbers. Can we count on you to chip in $3 or more before our end-of-quarter deadline on Monday, September 30 at midnight?

Since taking office, Dr. Kim Schrier has helped pass desperately needed legislation in the House to:
  • Get special interests' big money influence out of our government;
  • End partisan gerrymandering and ensure voting rights for all Americans;
  • Close loopholes and require comprehensive background checks for gun purchases;
  • Fight discrimination against LGBTQ+ individuals;
  • Raise the federal minimum wage and ensure equal pay for equal work;
  • Keep the U.S. in the Paris Climate Agreement;
  • Protect people with pre-existing conditions;
  • Make medications more affordable for working families;
  • Give permanent legal status to Dreamers and more!
But if we let national Republicans take back this seat in 2020, all that progress will be lost.
